Integrating Environmental Justice and Philanthropy: Lessons and Opportunities

As the climate crisis escalates, it becomes increasingly apparent that philanthropic efforts must extend beyond traditional climate funding models to embrace a more equitable approach. Please join us for a panel discussion that will unite environmental justice organizations with grantmakers who fund justice-focused climate action. Together, they will analyze how a justice-centered approach addresses the disproportionate impact of climate change on marginalized communities and enhances the effectiveness and long-term impact of philanthropic investments. This event is part of the outreach for Forging Climate Solutions: How to Accelerate Action Across America. 

After the panel discussion, which will run for 75 minutes, we will host a training session for philanthropies that wish to learn more about best practices for including justice in their grantmaking strategies.
