The vehicle entrance for the Academy is 200 Beacon Street, Somerville, MA 02143.

The Academy’s current headquarters (established 200 years after the organization’s founding) were made possible through the vision and generosity of Edwin Land.

The “House of the Academy” was designed by the architectural firm Kallmann McKinnell & Wood and incorporates many metaphors, borrowing elements from ancient Greek cities, Renaissance Tuscan villas, and the twentieth-century American and British Arts and Crafts style. 

Norton’s Woods Conference Center at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences offers a unique experience for retreats, corporate meetings, and celebratory dinners.
