Vladimir Sverak is Distinguished McKnight University Professor, School of Mathematics, at the University of Minnesota.
His work is in the area of partial differential equations. In recent years, he has been mostly interested in PDE analysis aspects of the equations of fluid mechanics.
Sverak has twice been a Member in the School of Mathematics at the Institute for Advanced Study.
