As the Government Relations Officer at the American Academy of the Arts and Sciences, Tony is responsible for coordinating and overseeing outreach and engagement with policymakers in the Washington, DC area, including Congress and the administration and federal agencies, as well as state and local government where relevant to Academy work.
Tony is an experienced government relations professional and before joining the academy, he worked for several national non-profit organizations, including OPERA America, Dance/USA, United Way Worldwide, and the National Association of State Boards of Education. Tony earned his B.S. in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University and his EJD from Purdue University Global Law School.
