Tetsuo Hatsuda

Tetsuo Hatsuda is the Director of the Interdisciplinary Theoretical and Mathematical Sciences (iTHEMS) Program at RIKEN, an international research initiative that fosters close collaboration among scientists from various fields, including theoretical, mathematical, and computational sciences. He is also a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Physics at the University of Tokyo.

Hatsuda's research focuses on theoretical nuclear and particle physics, particularly the microscopic description of hadrons, nuclei, and neutron stars.
