Ruth Rogers is a chef, restaurateur, and owner of the River Café, an award-winning Italian restaurant in London. Known for its seasonality and focus on authentically prepared regional, rustic Italian cuisine, the River Café has maintained a Michelin star since 1997. With her late business partner and co-founder, Rose Gray, Rogers has also published over 10 best-selling cookbooks.
Rogers has served on the board of the Royal Theatre, as a trustee of the domestic violence victims’ support organization Refuge, and is a patron of Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres and the Dyslexia Institute. She was named Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2020 for services to the culinary arts and charity.
