Royce Wilton Murray

 Professor Royce W. Murray was the Kenan Professor of Applied and Materials Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research interests included electroanalytical methods, the molecular design of electrode surfaces and metal clusters, voltammetry in semi-solids and at ultralow temperatures, mass transport and electron transfer dynamics, mediated electrocatalysis, and metal nanoparticles and nanostructures. His typical focus was the invention of measurement tools and strategies, and associated design of new molecular assemblies that give access to previously inaccessible and interesting chemical phenomena.
