Current research is on bounded rationality in economic decision-making, and on a strategic analysis of global warming. He has written on information and economic organization; deventralization of information, decision, and incentives in large firms; economic survival; markets with uncertainty; capital accumulation; economics of higher education; telecommunications regulation; national defense and arms control; and other topics. Current policy interests include global warming and workforce needs in information technology.
