Research focuses on (1) the intersection of law and finance/economics, especially as concerns the structure of transactions and contracting including the structure of organizations. He has written on the law and finance of corporate acquisitions, the legal infrastructure of high technology industry districts, and the economic structure of the market for legal services. (2) U.S. and comparative corporate governance.
