Ronald F. Inglehart
Professor Ronald F. Inglehart is the Professor of Political Science at University of Michigan. His research focuses on cultural change and its consequences and on mapping world political cultures in terms of key social and political attitudes. The World Values Survey, a global survey of mass values and attitudes, which he founded, is a widely used social scientific dataset. Some of his notable publications are The Silent Revolution, Culture Shift in Advanced Industrial Society, Value Change in Global Perspective, Modernization and Postmodernization, Rising Tide, Human Beliefs and Values, Sacred and Secular, and Cultural Evolution. His awards include Virginia A. Hodkinson Research Prize (2005), Prize of the Foundation Mattei Dogan (2014), and WAPOR Helen Dinerman Award (2014).
