Pericles Lewis

Pericles Lewis is the Douglas Tracy Smith Professor of Comparative Literature, Professor of English, and Dean of Yale College at Yale University. From 2012 to 2017, he served as the founding president of Yale-NUS College in Singapore. He is the author of Religious Experience and the Modernist Novel (2010), editor of The Cambridge Companion to European Modernism (2011), and editor of multiple editions of The Norton Anthology of World Literature (with Martin Puchner, Suzanne Conklin Akbari, Wiebke Denecke, Barbara Fuchs, Caroline Levine, and Emily Wilson, 2024).
