Paul Sznewajs
Paul Sznewajs is the founding Executive Director of Ingenuity, which received the 2013 Chicago Innovation Award as one of the city’s most innovative companies.
Paul has forged working partnerships and alliances with numerous city departments, the school district, and almost every major cultural institution in Chicago.
With nearly two decades of senior leadership experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector, he has a track record of building, launching and evaluating complex social sector initiatives.
His professional experience spans across all aspects of nonprofit and philanthropic work, including: executive leadership; public-sector planning and capacity-building; grant-making and impact investment program design; designing and implementing large scale public/private initiatives; board and staff recruitment; program development; as well as metric-based outcomes & program analysis.
Paul and Ingenuity received Boeing’s 2013 Game Changer Award, given to those effecting the greatest change in their sector each year. Previously, Paul led Snow City Arts, an award-winning organization he founded in 1998. As a chief fundraiser, nonprofit strategist, creative director, and arts advocate, he has been honored by the White House and is a leader in Chicago’s arts and culture sector.
