Morris Sheppard Arnold

United States Circuit Judge for the Eighth Circuit. Formerly United States District Judge and Presiding Judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court of Review. Published eight books including Year Book of 2 Richard 2, 1378-79, Select Cases of Trespass from the King's court, 1307-1399, and Unequal Laws Unto a Savage Race: European Legal Traditions in Arkansas, 1686-1836. His writings have illuminated the development  of the common law of obligations and the civil law of colonial Louisiana.
