Michael Erwin Gellert

Michael Gellert is a general partner in the private investment firm Windcrest Partners, which was created in 1967.  He serves on the Board of Dalet Technologies, Chairman of Worldwide Special Fund N.V., board member emeritus of Seacor Holdings, Inc., and numerous private companies. He is a Trustee and former Chairman of Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, Trustee of Human Rights Watch, New York City Opera, Carnegie Institution for Science (chairman 2003-2013), Trustee and former Vice Chair of the Board of New School University and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.  Mr. Gellert is Chairman of the Roosevelt House Advisory Board and Chairman of the Social Science Research Council’s Visiting Committee. At Harvard University he serves on the Committee on University Resources and the Dean’s Council. He was elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2000 and serves as a member of its Trust.
