Developed methods to predict rates of species extinction, demonstrated role of meso-predator release in trophic cascades, and helped create & establish population viability analysis. Introduced fluctuating asymmetry as a measure of stress in natural populations. Currently writing a book on the biological (fitness) basis of sin and its role in the extinction and warming crises.
