Mette Hjort

Mette Hjort is Professor of Film and Screen Studies, and Head of the Lincoln School of Film, Media and Journalism at the University of Lincoln in the United Kingdom. In July 2024, she will return to Hong Kong as Chair Professor at the Education University of Hong Kong. She is the author of Small Nation, Global Cinema: The New Danish Cinema (2005) and the editor of The Education of the Filmmaker in Europe, Australia, and Asia (2013) and Film and Risk (2012).
