Marcel Kahan is the George T. Lowy Professor of Law at the New York University School of Law. His main areas of teaching and research are hedge funds, shareholder voting, corporate governance, state competition, and bondholder rights. He is the author of numerous articles for law reviews, finance journals, and professional publications, and was awarded the Merton Miller Prize for best paper submitted to the Journal of Business and the De Brauw Prize for best paper in the ECGI Law Working Paper Series. In addition to teaching, he is a Fellow at the European Corporate Governance Institute and a member of the Board of Directors of the Center for Law and Business at NYU School of Law.
