Lucius Barker

Lucius Barker is the William Bennett Munro Professor Emeritus and former Chair of the Department of Political Science at Stanford University. His major teaching and research interests are in judicial politics and Constitutional law, and African-American politics. Barker served as president of the American Political Science Association in 1992-93. He has also served as President of the National Conference of Black Political Scientists. He has received honorary Doctor of Laws degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (1992) and from Southern University in Baton Rouge (1994).
