Linda T. Zagzebski is George Lynn Cross Research Professor emerita and Kingfisher College Chair of the Philosophy of Religion and Ethics emerita at the University of Oklahoma. Her work focuses on epistemology, philosophy of religion, ethics, and the varieties of fatalism. 

Zagzebski's book publications include The Two Greatest Ideas, Exemplarist Moral Theory, Epistemic Authority, Virtues of the Mind, The Dilemma of Freedom and Foreknowledge, Divine Motivation Theory, On Epistemology, Philosophy of Religion: A Historical Introduction, and two collections of previously published papers, as well as four edited books and well over a hundred papers translated into twelve languages.


Zagzebski is a Guggenheim Fellow and holder of many endowed lectureships. She has been President of the Central Division of the American Philosophical Association, President of the Society of Christian Philosophers, and President of the American Catholic Philosophical Association. She received her Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles and was previously on the faculty of Loyola Marymount University.
