Trustee emeritus, Acquisitions Committee, Metropolitan Museum of Art; Trustee, Philadelphia Museum of Art; Managing Director, Metropolitan Opera. Recipient of the Pat Nixon Ambassador of Goodwill Award. Awarded an honorary Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of her contribution to the preservation of important British cultural and educational institutions, and her work promoting British-American relations.
