Lawrence Lessig is the Roy L. Furman Professor of Law at Harvard Law School Professor of Law, co-founder of Creative Commons, a non-profit organization devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon ant to share legally, and a founder of Rootstrikers, an activist network opposed to corruption in government. He is an expert on the legal and social consequences of the information revolution, and has published numerous works on the subject. His academic interests include constitutional law and institutional ethics.
