Kenneth A. Intriligator

Kenneth Intriligator is the Broida Chair, distinguished professor of Physics at the University of California, San Diego. Intriligator is a theoretical physicist whose research centers on quantum fields. He explores the varied possible phenomena, phases, and duality interconnections of quantum fields, especially by developing and applying symmetry-based methods. He co-discovered dualities and exact results for quantum field theories in various spacetime dimensions. Some of these results, e.g. 3d Mirror Symmetry, have also led to new developments in mathematics.
