Since 1997, he has been composing the music drama LIGHT, The Seven Days of the week. As of 1999, 5 days has been premiered ( in 1981, 1984, and 1988, at La Scala in Milan, in 1993 and 1996 at the Leipzig Opera). Wednesday from Light has not had its staged premiere yet. the world premiere of first part of Sunday from Light, Lights -- Waters (Sunday greeting), was conducted by Stockhausen in October during Donauschinger Musiktage. To date (2000), he has written 285 individually performable works.
