Jeremy Denk

Pianist of extraordinary variety and prowess as well as a writer. His highly acclaimed recordings range from Bach to Ives and Ligeti, His blog, Think Denk is widely read and was recently selected for the Library of Congress Web Archives; he has written for The New Yorker, The New Republic, and The Guardian. He wrote the libretto for the comic opera, The Classical Style; An Opera of Sorts which premiered at the Ojai Music Festival and Cal Performances, and will be presented by the Aspen Music Festival and Carnegie Hall. He is Artistic Partner with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and curated the Ojai Festival in 2014.
