Her remarkable career includes impressive work in macro and microeconomics and positions as Chair of the Federal Reserve and Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers. She is currently a Distinguished Fellow in the Hutchins Center on Monetary and Fiscal Policy at the Brookings Institution. Her writings on bundling and advertising (micro) and near-rational theory of business cycles are much cited, as are her papers on neighborhoods, crime, and teen pregnancy.
