James F. Rothenberg

Chairman and Principal Executive Officer a privately held investment firm that serves as the investment adviser to the American Funds, the third largest mutual fund family in the United States. For the past ten years (2004-2014), he served as the Treasurer of Harvard University and continues as a fellow of the Harvard Corporation. He also chairs the board of directors of Harvard Management Company, and is a Co-chair of the Harvard Campaign. He currently sits as a governor of the Investment Company Institute, a trustee of the California Institute of Technology, trustee of the J. Paul Getty Trust, and as Chairman of the Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena. He is a member and past chair of the board of public television station KCET.
