Applied a wide range of techniques, including flash-activated molecules, mutagenesis, and incorporation of unnatural sidechains, to the study of the structure and function of ion channels and neurotransmitter receptors. Created mouse models with mutated channels and receptors to study and explain pathophysiology, including nicotine addiction.
