Geoff K. Ward

Geoff K. Ward is Professor of African and African-American Studies, Faculty Affiliate in Sociology and American Culture Studies, and Director of the WashU and Slavery Project in the Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity, and Equity at Washington University in St. Louis. He is the author of The Black Child Savers: Racial Democracy and Juvenile Justice (2012) and has coedited special issues of The ANNALS of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, Race and Justice: An International Journal, and Souls: A Critical Journal of Black Politics, Culture, and Society.
