Work focuses on twentieth century continental philosophy. She has written ethical and historical approaches to man-made mass death, on exemplary lives and ethical theories and on the philosophy of Emmanuel Levinas. Her current research concerns the meaning of altruism from genetic, cultural and philosophical perspectives.
