Earl Gilbert Graves

Founder of Black Enterprise agazine, a business-service publication targeted to black professionals, entrepreneurs and executives and policy makers in the public and private sectors. America's premiere African American businessman, he is the author of How to Succeed in Business Without Being White, which chronicles his success strategies. A staunch advocate of higher education and equal opportunity, he holds honorary degrees from 45 universities. In 1995, Morgan State University, his alma mater, renamed the university's school of business and management The Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management in recognition of his support of entrepreneurial education/
