Dr. Natalie Roberts
Dr Natalie Roberts is the Executive Director of MSF in the UK. A medical doctor, she has worked for MSF in multiple conflict zones and situations of humanitarian crisis, including in Syria, Yemen, Ukraine, Central African Republic, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of Congo and NE Nigeria. Between 2016 and 2019 she was Head of Emergency Operations at MSF’s Paris office, from where she contributed to the coordination of MSF’s emergency conflict responses in Borno (Nigeria), Mosul (Iraq), Raqqa (Syria), and the Great March of Return protests in Gaza. Before moving to her current post in late 2022, Natalie was Director of Studies at the Crash, a Paris-based thinktank that critically reflects on MSF’s actions and public positioning.
Natalie qualified in medicine at Cambridge University and Imperial College London. She also holds an MA in History and Philosophy of Science from Cambridge University and an MSc in the Political Economy of Violence, Conflict and Development from SOAS.
