My research involves the application of mass spectrometry, isotope geochemistry, and principles of physics and chemistry to fundamental problems in geology, geochemistry, and environmental science. I have studied and written papers on the origin and evolution of the Earth's continental crust, lithosphere and mantle, the petrogenesis and geochronology of igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks, and geochemical methods in environmental and climate change science.
