Catherine Van Ness is the Program Officer for Education.
Prior to joining the Academy, Catherine worked at the National Governors Association and Council for a Strong America, both bipartisan organizations. Throughout her career, Catherine has supported state leaders to develop and implement early childhood and K-12 education policies, particularly related to student well-being and out-of-school-time programs. She holds a master’s degree in education policy studies from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University.
