She works with several national organizations on determining optimal health policy approaches; these include the national Blue Cross Association, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations as well as the Board on Health Services of the Institute of Medicine. She also practices nuclear medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital.
