Violinist, Artist in Residence; Professor of Violin. Internationally acclaimed violinist since his orchestral debut at age 14. Founder and First Violinist of the Guarneri String Quartet (1964-2009). Solo recordings include unaccompanied Bach works, Franz Shubert's complete works for violin and piano, and a variety of American music. Guest performer with leading orchestras around the world. Author of two books, Violin Dreams (2006) and Indivisible by Four: A String Quartet in Pursuit of Harmony (1998).
