Arnaud Costinot is Professor of Economics and Associate Head of the Department of Economics at MIT, where he has been since 2008.
Costinot is also a Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research and a Faculty Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He is Co-Editor of American Economic Review and Associate Editor of the Journal of International Economics.
His areas of research and writing on international economics include comparative advantage, gains from trade, productivity, commercial policy, and globalization.
