Alfred Paul Fishman

Alfred P. Fishman holds an endowed Emeritus Professorship and is Senior Associate Dean at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is an established clinical scientist with credentials in cardiovascular, pulmonary and comparative physiology and medicine. Throughout his career, he has been involved in scientific editing and publishing and has played several leading national roles, such as President of the American Physiological Society and Chairman of the Health Sciences Board of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences.
