Alex Parker-Guerrero

Alex Parker-Guerrero is the Academy's Communications Specialist. In this role, he contributes to and develops efforts to raise the visibility and profile of the  Academy's programs and people. 

Alex earned his undergraduate degree in American studies from Occidental College and a Master’s in Public Humanities from Brown University. His prior work experience includes marketing and communications for the Brown Arts Initiative and the Kenneth Rainin Foundation. Alex has also been involved with public-facing cultural activities at the Smithsonian Institution and the Oakland Museum of California.
