Adam Weinberg is an eminent writer, curator and museum director. He has been director of the Whitney Museum since 2003, was director of the Addison Gallery at Andover MA from 1999 to 2003 and curator at the Whitney before that. He has overseen many important exhibitions and guided the construction of the new Whitney designed by Renzo Piano. Some of his major publications and exhibitions have been on the work of Sol Le Witt, Edward Hopper, Robert Mangold and Frank Stella.
