In Search of Memory is a documentary biopic chronicling the life and career of neuroscientist Eric Kandel, winner of the Nobel Prize for Medicine. Beginning with his childhood in Vienna before and after the Nazi takeover, the film explores Kandel’s own memories and uses them to illustrate the scientific discoveries that elucidated how memories are stored in the brain.
