Solving Our Climate Crisis

Recent extreme weather events, including a series of destructive hurricanes and a trend toward longer and more devastating wildfire seasons, signal the urgency of the global climate crisis. Former Vice President Al Gore has been at the forefront of the movement to raise awareness about this issue, notably through his films, “An Inconvenient Truth” and “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power,” his work with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change with which he was co-recipient of the Nobel Prize, and the educational trainings he has led worldwide. During this event, Gore discussed the causes and dangers of man-made climate change and the immediate actions all of us can take to mitigate it.
