Academy members gathered for an online discussion about the science and epidemiology of COVID-19. Renowned virologist Lawrence Corey and global health leader Jaime Sepúlveda presented and answered questions about the physiology of the disease, potential vaccines, and antiviral drugs, as well as the implications for global public health, future pandemics, and humanitarian responses.
