The opening celebration of the American Academy's 2024 Induction Weekend honored the Academy's inaugural class of Legacy Recognition Honorees and included a performance led by newly elected member Rodney Whitaker, a renowned recording artist, jazz bassist, and professor of jazz double bass.
The evening also featured The Annual David M. Rubenstein Conversation with Grant Hill, which can also be viewed online.
