On Sunday, October 22, 2017, the Los Angeles Program Committee hosted a salon on Creativity: What Is It and Can It Be Taught? The discussion explored topics such as the conditions that enable people to be creative and imaginative, historical notions of creativity (including insights from a 1965 issue of Dædalus on “Creativity and Learning”), and how to foster creativity within K-12 education.
