As Director of Individual and Planned Giving, Kara is responsible for advancing the major and planned giving programs to support the Academy's current and future projects and programs.
Kara previously worked in advancement at the Academy from 2008-2018 before rejoining the team in 2023. Prior to that, she worked at Pine Street Inn, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Athenaeum, and the Arnold Arboretum.
